At Mobile World Congress Feb 2008 in Barcelona, The LTE (Long Term
Evolution) appeared the major issue to us , and many people
were focused on it. The LTE which was the most leading technology
for 4G among various candidate technology was developed 3GPP made
by the technology standard of GSM, WSDMA. In this homepage, we introduced
the standard of LTE test developed in 3GPP,
also rearranged the trend of LTE test standard.
Overview technology of the LTE
The LTE has been started since the RAN Evolution Workshop 12. 2004.
It is the technology included 3GPP Rel-8 and support maximum Downlink
326.4 Mbps, Uplink 86,4 Mbps by using OFDM(Orthogonal
Frequency Division Multiple Access) and MIMO(Multiple Input multiple

The test standard of 3GPP LTE
The 3GPP was activated through working group of each category for
setting GSM, WCDMA, LTE standard. The 3GPP RAN WG5 was
responsible for the LTE test standard. (The structure and organization
of 3GPP appeared in 3GPP homepage(www.3gpp.org). Also
3GPP was justified and managed to the standard related LTE by 36 series
documents (Evolved UTRA aspects). Among the standard
of several standard, the standard related conformance test of the
LTE standard was managed by RAN WG5 and the detail
information about test standard was as below. |
